More than 100,000 people are no longer interested in “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” and would like E! to stop airing the family’s reality show.
The “No More Kardashian” petition was launched about two weeks ago by Cyndy Snider, who told Yahoo, “These shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption.” The petition has more than 106,000 signatures from people across and outside of the U.S.

“We are respectfully requesting that your network [E!] find other shows to air,” the petition reads. “ ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ is just not viewing that we the public, would like to see from your network. Enough is enough.”

The petition has a sister site, BoycottKim.com, which calls for consumers to stay away from products she endorses.
This sentiment is probably felt by more than the thousands of Kardashians haters who have signed. Kardashian saturation reached a peak with news that Kim Kardashian was ending her marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries after 72 days. Allegations that the wedding was staged flourished.
But will the pushback against the family and this petition lead E! to cancel the show? Probably not.
Over two nights in October, 10.5 million people watched the Kardashian wedding extravaganza. The September season finale of “Keeping Up” was watched by 3.5 million.
Season 2 of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” premiering Nov. 27, will be the first post-divorce ratings indicator. Previews promise glimpses at the unraveling of Kim’s marriage, which, like it or not, will probably attract viewers and keep the Kardashian family on TV for the time being.
E! declined to comment on the petition.
