Earlier today, TMZ reported that Nicki Minaj and her assistant/boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, got into an argument at a hotel pool in Dallas Monday Night, one that ended in an altercation.
According to TMZ, the police report says that after their argument downstairs, Nicki followed Samuels up to the room they were sharing to make sure he didn’t take any of her stuff.
Nicki was looking into her suitcase in the room, which contained some of Samuels’ belongings, when she said he “grabbed the suitcase and as he was picking it up, he shoved the suitcase across [Nicki's] chin and lower lip.”
Sounds very believable, except Nicki Minaj herself took to Twitter this morning to dispute that the incident ever took place.
She wrote, “The fact that u believe a man either slapped or punched me in the face & didn’t leave on a stretcher w/his balls hangin off? #getaF%cknLife.”
We were inclined to believe Nicki Minaj because she was there, right? But now TMZ is firing back by releasing the police reports they’ve obtained.
According to the reports, a paramedic was called to the scene, but Minaj decided she didn’t want to press charges, so the case was closed.
Doesn’t really look all that good for Nicki’s story, but we could see why she wouldn’t want this to get out — it’s super embarrassing.
Hopefully this is the first time we will ever hear of any story like this involving Ms. Minaj, or we’ll have to come after you, Safaree Samuels.
You already have one strike in our book for the Amber Rose “sexting” incident.
