THA BLOCK BROTHAZ (BIG SMO / BAD GUY), started rhyming and making music together over a decade ago. Big Smo and Bad Guy have been in the game and have each put out several projects and ran their own record labels before coming together to form Tha Block Brothaz. The two grew up together in the Rindge Towers and Jefferson Park projects in the North section of Cambridge Massachusetts. After years of supporting each others grind in the music game they decided to put their minds and skills together to form one powerful entity “Tha Block Brothaz” & Smo$Money Records. Their music not glorifies but depicts the harsh realities that they grew up in and had to overcome, which is the same reality many young men in the inner cities across the nation and the world also face themselves. This is what bonds them as well as their fans together as Block Brothaz and Block Sistaz. Though that is the core of their music, it is only one side. Tha Block Brothaz are very versatile and are focused on putting out good music that everyone can relate and listen to, not just the hood. With the background, experience, skills, and wisdom that the Block Brothaz possess individually, and as a group, they are sure to be watched as they continue their climb to the top of the game.
